SPONSORS NEEDED FOR TUMOR REMOVAL & HEART WORM TREATMENT
Booberry-Graycee was found just before Haloween in a local Nature Preserve that is a common dumping ground for dogs that owners no longer want. She was 20lbs thinner than she is now just 2month later. She still had milk in her teats from recently nursing a litter of pups. And based on her condition, the vets feel she has had numerous litters...too many to count. Her teeth are worn down, some are broken an chipped and she desperately needs a dental. Once her previous owners were done making money off of selling her pups they just tossed her aside. She was found by one of our volunteers an they have agreed to foster her through her healing process. Once her milk dried up, she was able to be spayed and we can address her numerous other medical issues. Booberry has many tumors, 2 mammary tumors, one mast cell tumor on her private parts and his heart worm positive. Personality wise she is just AMAZING!! She is great with other dogs, gentle and loving. She welcomed the loving care of her foster family and has been rewarding them daily by reciprocating all the unconditional love her broken, battered body can muster up. She has been pretty tired through the whole process, the stress of the heart worms on her heart and the tumors cause her to sleep a lot. She has tolerated all the poking and prodding without one bit of resistance. Please help us help Booberry enjoy the remainder of her life healthy and pain free.

A complete application is reguired before a meet-n-greet or home visit by us with the dog to ascertain the fit between dog and family. Meet-n-Greets are by appointment only. Please note that we require you to be age 21 or older to adopt a dog.
