Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello my name is Buddy. I am looking for my perfect family. Let me tell you a little about myself.
Buddy steals your heart- he is handsome, affectionate, playful and responsive.
He radiates joy, so much so that one friend says we should change his name- to
"Happy" or "Smiles" he is a Maestro of the Big Welcome and Greeting - wiggling,
dancing, snuggling.
His soulful, golden brown eyes communicate so strongly sometimes I think I understand him.
Few can pass him without greeting and petting him. One of my nicknames for him is
"Twitter Tale" because he acknowledges me every time I pass him on his cozy mat like he is
thanking me for bringing him into our home...yes, he melts hearts.
He is quite the male model, patient and poised, as I dress him in holiday and seasonal costumes.
to entertain my nieces and nephews. His has a knack for camera poses- a canine calendar boy.
He is a 4 year old Sharpei and terrier mix but he really likes going into water- pond, creek, lake- so I suspect there must be some retriever in him.
Buddy gets along beautifully with my female dog and our frequent canine guests- male and female.
He is social, warm and friendly-- a popular regular at my local coffee shop where he waits outside for me attached to the patio table- baristas and servers ask me if he is "accompanying " me, they go visit him on their breaks- his circle of friends is wide -full of two and four legged members.
Riding in the car ranks very high on his Bliss List. He can hear the clink of a car key from another floor.
He is housebroken, does Sit perfectly would do best -with a fenced yard to play and run in.
Buddy adoption donation is $250 and includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, Avid microchip & deworming. Buddy is being fostered in St Louis Missouri but transportation to the New England area is available thru ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT for an additional $140. Transportation to the Chicago area available on a limited basis for $125.
