My story

Hi my name is Sandy

Sex: Female
Age: 3-5 years
Breed: JRT mix

Sandy is not a typical Terrier. She would much rather be cuddling with you on the couch than running around. She does get her bursts of energy where she likes to run around with her favorite red toy but then it’s back to your side. She walks well on leash is kennel trained, however beds in the kennel will end up in pieces. She does get along with other dogs as long as she is introduced properly and if she gets snippy you need to be able to make sure she knows it’s not ok. She loves people especially those that will give her lots of love. The only terrier quality she seems to have is her prey drive so no cats or small animals. I honestly believe she would not hesitate to take off chasing something so a home with a fenced yard is key. She experienced some anxiety when she first arrived which made her shake but now that she is comfortable with us and her surroundings she does not shake (unless she is outside and its cold but don’t we all?!) She can be strong willed at times but ultimately all she wants is your love. She is a sweet little girl with an old soul!
