My story

Cashew is a 1 year old Shih Tzu mix currently living in a foster home with us and looking for a new family! She had been bounced around a bit before coming to our rescue. Cashew is very, very sweet with people but will guard things like her food and toys. She will need an adopter who understands that and will work with us and her on how to best manage that situation. Cashew is housebroken as well as crate trained. She knows some commands and is about 10 pounds. She loves to snuggle in her bed (or your couch), go for car rides, and play. Cashew is looking for a home where she will be your only animal and without small kids due to her guarding behaviors with resources.
