Look what the spring season brought in……a “Blizzard”! Blizzard is a stunning snow white Siberian Husky, about one year old. He was found roaming the streets of Manhattan and taken to the shelter, where our volunteer spotted him. He is an incredibly nice looking husky – his white fur contrasts perfectly with his ice blue eyes.
Blizzard is a wonderful dog! He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home and he is great with people of all sizes. He walks very well on a leash and knows how to “sit”. He is still very young and energetic, and needs an active family who will devote time to taking him on long walks or perhaps jogging or hiking with him. Blizzard is very playful – once he tires of playing with the other dogs, he amuses himself by batting around a tennis ball or chewing on squeaky toys. He is very affectionate and loves being petted and brushed.
Blizzard is not a barker but he does "talk" when he is excited, especially in the morning when he greets each member of his foster family upon awakening. He is up to date on all his shots, micro-chipped, neutered, and heartworm negative. He is also crate trained. If you are looking for a great dog to add to your family, Blizzard may be the perfect choice for you!
