My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Molly! I'm a 5 year old maltese. I'm a happy little girl who loves attention and love. I weigh about 7 1/2 lbs., but I'm a bit overweight, so once I get to the correct weight, I should weigh between 6 1/2 and 7 lbs. I was rescued from a puppy mill because the breeder didn't want to breed me anymore. Lucky me to be out of that horrible place! Here in my foster home I get to sleep on soft blankets, eat quality food, play outside in the grass, and most importantly, I'm loved! My tail is always wagging. I love being with my foster parents. I follow them around and want to be near them always. I'd love to go to a home where I'm not left alone very often.

Since being rescued, I've been spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative), dewormed, brought up to date on vaccinations, and had a dental cleaning. I'm being fed a high-quality food that doesn't contain any corn, wheat, soy, meat by-products or other low-quality ingredients, and I hope my new family will continue to feed me a high-quality food for the rest of my life. The adoption process with Safe Haven Bichon and Friends Rescue includes an application, reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs on planes or send them on transports. Adopters need to come to the foster home to adopt.
