My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remi is a 1.5 year old female mantle. She adores people of all ages and follows her foster mom everywhere including the bathroom. She is great at entertaining herself playing with toys, but also craves attention. She will "nudge" your arm so you will pet her. We feel Remi would do best in a home without other dogs, however with the right dog (a large-breed male companion) and a person who is knowledgeable about dog behavior she would likely do fine. She currently is doing well with her four foster sisters. She does have some resource guarding issues (food and toy aggression) and has to be closely supervised if given toys to play with or treats and definitely should be fed separately from any other animals. She is a very sweet dog and has been around children of all ages and does wonderful. She knows sit and has tolerable leash manners. She is crate trained. She does not do well with having her nails trimmed but we are working on this. Both of her third eyelids do not retract completely but this does not affect her vision and does not bother her at all.

Remi has been spayed, microchiped and is UTD on her vaccines. She has been temperament tested and has had a well check. We will require that Remi is an only dog in her adoptive home.
