My story

Ruby - In search of an adorable smoosh faced dog to love? Look NO further! I am a 3.5 year old female pekinese mix who is in search of a comfortable lap and quiet home to call my own. I am just a tiny little girl - under 10 pounds actually - so slightly smaller than a purebred peke. My hair is a little thin right now but that's because when I was rescued from the dog pound I had a terrible flea allergy and had been on the street long enough so that my beautiful coat was no more. I have bounced right back though and my gorgeous coat is coming back! I am generally good with other dogs but prefer those that have some manners - not so much the ones that try to jump all over me and get in my face. I do fine with older kids but no young ones please - I'm just too little and they sometimes forget themselves and can be a little on the rough side. An adult home or one with older kids is a must. I am mostly house trained, crate trained and I walk well on a leash. I also enjoy car rides and snuggles! If you are a quiet home looking for an adorable tiny companion, why not give me a try - I promise you won't be disappointed!
