My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar is an approximately 6 year old Sheltie mix. She is a smaller dog, at only about 21 pounds. Sugar is
just like her name. She is as sweet as can be. Sugar and her friend Goldie are looking for a new family
because her mom got really sick and passed away at the end of November. Since their mom was ill for
so long Sugar misses all of the snuggles, long walks, and love she was used to from better times. She
loves her walks. Her mom used to take her on 3-4 mile walks daily.
Sugar is currently in a foster home with other dogs and is also used to cats from her original home. She
is a pretty quiet dog but will let you know if someone is at the door. Sugar is housetrained and kennel
trained but does not require being kenneled during the day. She is a good dog and does not get into
anything she isn’t supposed to. She is mellow for a smaller dog. She is perfectly content to perch on the
couch and look out of the window to the world passing by. She is curious though and will follow you to
another room and peek around the corner to see what you are doing.
Sugar is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, and micro chipped.
