My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dottie was found as a stay wondering the streets of Miami. Dottie was a very lucky girl to have met Sara who works for the phone company. Sara bought food and water to Dottie every day she went to work. After a few weeks of doing this Sara could no longer stand to see Dottie living in this situation and took her home. Sara lived in an apartment and she knew right away that she wouldn't be able to keep Dottie. She contacted Rottie Nation Rottweiler Rescue to see if we had room. We were full at the time but knew we would have room for Dottie in a week or two. While Dottie was waiting to come to Rottie Nation, Sara took her to the vet, got her all of her vaccinations, and had her spayed. Sara wanted to make sure when Dottie got to Rottie Nation she would be all ready to be adopted.

Dottie is a sweet shy girl. She will be a bit nervous when you first meet her, but she is not aggressive at all and will melt into your arms. She walks well on a leash and we are working with her now on her eating and potty schedule. One thing we do with our dogs is put them on an eating and bathroom schedule which makes it a lot easier on us and you when you adopt one of our dogs.
