Friendly girl Vera is at the shelter as her owner can no longer care for her. She is 9 months old and weighs 53 pounds. She is very affectionate and has a lifetime of love and companionship ready to share with some lucky adopter. Vera is very well behaved so do not let her stern look fool you. She is gentle and just craves attention. She is in perfect shape and now ready for that special new person to take her home. Come in and see how pretty she really is.........

We have learned that Vera rides very well in a car and she met some cats and we believe she could live harmoniously with them! Very would do best if she did not live with another female dog as she appears to like to be in charge. Most importantly she wants a human to lean from and cuddle with!
