My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maisy is an adorable 8 lb and approximately 2 year old girl we saved from a horrible kill shelter in Southern California. It's hard to imagine this adorable girl in such a place.. She will need lots of love and gentle guidance. She is shy and it takes her awhile to warm up. An ideal home would be with someone who is retired or works from home and has a peaceful environment without children. Maisy comes with the potential for you to receive a very special bond. After adopting my first shy dog, he is the love of my life and now a completely social dog. It's a wonderful experience watching a dog come out of their shell and become a social and friendly dog. There are so many rewards! Given her small size, we won't place her in a home with small children.

Our dogs come straight from the shelter into loving foster homes. They are then given a chance to decompress from a very frightening shelter experience before we bring them to Seattle. We are now looking for foster to adopt situation for Maisy. Her adoption fee covers her expenses and nothing more. Our fee is not negotiable since this is a pay it forward system. One dog is adopted another is saved. We transport our dogs via Alaskan Air and it is not cheap, but we feel it's the kindest means of transport. Adoption Fee: $550…includes, vaccinations, spay, healthcare, heart worm test, health certificate, transportation, microchip and crate.
