My story

Hi everybody! I'm Duke, and I'm a natural born leader just like my name implies. I get along great with other dogs, big and small. I like to go on walks and to the dog park with my fur pals. I'm leash, crate, kennel, and house trained, and really not much trouble at all. I'm just a little uneasy around youngsters when they try to get too friendly too fast. I do prefer the older, calmer crowd. My tail curls up when my curiosity is up, which is kind of a funny trait, I know. I'm a big and handsome guy, just like John Wayne, also known as 'The Duke.' And The Duke would tell me this.. 'A dog's gotta do what a dog's gotta do.' So I aim to find myself a super duper place to call home and a family who will love me forever and ever. I really hope that is going to be you!
