Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog's fosterhome is located in: Scotia, New York
"Oh Mickey, he's so fine! He's so fine he'll blow your mind! Oh Mickey... MaMaMa Mickey!!"
Meet Oh Mickey! He's a beautiful, athletic, 11-lb., 4-year-old chocolate tri colored boy who is very affectionate and loves to be with his people. He also loves to play fetch and run around playing outside with his canine foster siblings. His fostermom thinks he'd make a great agility dog if someone's willing to train him. Oh Mickey is smart and obedient. He is leash trained and housebroken, but doesn't do very well in a crate, and would NOT do well with someone who travels and wants to take Mickey with them, because he is a homebody! Mickey loves to burrow under the blankets on the couch or in bed. He can be a sensitive soul, and when extremely excited he has a tendency to "scream." Mickey is a great guy who has really come out of his shell and keeps everyone amused with his antics. Follow this video link to see "so fine" Oh Mickey: here.
OUR ADOPTION FEE is $150 ($175 for puppies younger than 12 months; $200 for American Hairless Terriers).
QUESTIONS ABOUT ADOPTION? Read the "Adoption Process" section below!
IS THIS DOG AVAILABLE? If the bio above doesn't say that there's an adoption pending, then YES! he or she IS available. As soon as we approve an application, we'll post it, so you will NOT get more current info by emailing us to ask if the dog is available. To "get in line" to adopt or get more details, you MUST CLICK HERE to submit an Adoption Application.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS DOG? The email address on this page is for website-related issues ONLY. For answers to specific questions about a particular dog, you MUST submit an Adoption Application! That is the only way to access the fosterparent for this particular dog, who is the only person who can answer specifics about this dog's personality or geographic location. (Our dogs are located in private fosterhomes around the state, and we do not provide those addresses on the Internet or to casual inquiries, and you cannot just "drop by" to see a dog without prearranging it with the fosterhome.) Because we are an all-volunteer organization and receive a very high volume of inquiries, we can only respond personally to people who have demonstrated a serious interest in adoption by filling out our application.
