My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petey came from one of our local high kill shelters. He was an owner turn in so he would be first to kill. His owners said they just didn't want him even after they were told the consequences of turning him in to the facility. Petey needs and deserves a proper home anyway. We have had him about 24 hours. He is sweet as pie. He has a piece of his ear split and was bleeding but we have that under control. He threw up but we believe it is due to nerves more than anything. He does not act like he has ever been on a leash or in the house. We put a harness on him and he is calming down and getting to know our routine. He will head to our vet on Tuesday to be fully vetted and will be available after that. Petey will be an indoor dog with outdoor privileges. We will start house training and obedience tomorrow and keep you updated on his progress! To adopt Petey an application must be filled out and approved. The application is online at www.waitingforastartofallfarm.com , under adoption process. His adoption donation is $150.00. That includes neuter, rabies, micro chip, parvo and other vaccines relevant to this area. We are a 501 c 3 so your donation is tax deductible!
