My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI my name is Lizzie and I am a 1-2 yr old apricot female poodle. I weigh 10lbs and I am looking for my forever home. I was formerly an outside dog with a sister but I was owner surrendered to the shelter, reason unknown. My sister was more outgoing and was adopted leaving me scared and alone. I am on the shy side so I was looked over. My date for euthanasia was coming up when my foster mommy took me in. I was a little afraid of her in the beginning which is normal coming from the shelter but now I am very outgoing with her and all of my foster family including the big kids and the other doggies. I am still shy upon first meeting someone but warm up very quickly. I would do good in a home with another dog. I do like older kids, but not sure how I would do with younger ones or cats. I am working very hard on my house training, my foster parents are very proud of me and say I do great when let out often. I am crate trained if I need to be in there during the day but prefer sleeping with my foster parents at night. I am just now learning how to cuddle and let my family love on me and I realized that I really like it. Right now I am a little energetic at times as I am still learning how to properly act after becoming an inside doggie, but I am learning quickly. I am so looking forward to finding my new forever family, could it be yours?
