My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

New Initial bio 1-6-15 Jade is back in her foster home. Sadly her forever home didn't work out. Jade is a sweet 5 year old 6.8 lb Yorkshire Terrier female being fostered again in Suwanee, GA.

Jade was adopted and went to a loving forever home, however Jade became aggressively obsessed with the cat and after many tears her new family decided it would be best for Jade to find another home. Originally Jade came to UYR from a family who loved her enough to realize they were too busy to give her the time she needed. They wanted the best for her; which means a family that has the time to love on her, take on long walks plus play with her.

United Yorkie Rescue stepped in to help find Jade the PERFECT forever home she deserves. Jade is a perfect little princess and would like to be treated as such. She still has a playful nature though she is not much interested in toys. She loves to run around the backyard. Jade is very well behaved.

Her house training is coming along nicely and she hasn’t had an accident in the house in many days. She would much prefer going for a walk or romping around the back yard when she needs to do her business. She sleeps in bed with her owner and spends the nights curled up in between the pillows at the head of the bed where she likes to be cuddled. She rides well in the car.

Jade has become aggressively obsessed with cats and so a home without a cat is a must. She is good with other dogs though and she loves to play with her foster brother puppy, Snickers. Jade is fine with children but would really rather be the center of attention all by herself or will share with a doggy playmate.

Preference will be given to applicants who have a fenced yard for Jade to play in. She loves to spend time outside. Jade absolutely HATES to be crated. It is understandable to crate her for her own safety, especially at first, when leaving the house for an hour or two but regular or extended time in the crate would make Jade very unhappy.

Jade politely asked to say a few words on her own behalf--
Hello, I’m Jade, and I am a little confused about all this traveling. I had a nice foster home and thought I'd settle in but then I went to live with a large family of rescue pups. They also had this thing called a cat and I don't think I want to ever live with a cat again. I don't think I like them and the certainly don't seem to like me. My foster daddy promised me that he won’t let me go until he finds me a forever family that can both give me all the attention I deserve and a home without a cat in it. He says I’m sweet. Isn’t that sweet? I was very happy in my foster home and it was easy fitting in and I'm love to play with my little puppy foster brother (who isn't that little), Snickers. Puppies! They are so immature! I do like to play with him though. I promise I will be a good girl if you can love me and I’ll love you forever and ever and ever! I’ll give you kisses several times a day and dance every time you come home! I’d love to have a forever family for the rest of my life. I’m looking for you every minute every day because I know you’re out there somewhere."
