My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

11-24-14 Initial Bio -- Meet Ty. Ty is our newest little fellow and when I say little, he is barely 3 pounds. He is 11 years old, and just had a birthday a few days ago. Tiny Ty is being fostered in Leesburg, FL.

Ty only came to us yesterday, but we do know a few things about him. He was very stressed out and anxious living in his former home with a toddler who only wanted to make him her play toy. He is so small that he looks like a stuffed toy and she chased him all over the house to get him to play with her. He spent all his time running away from her and cowering in his crate.

Ty is a little too skinny. He really needs to be closer to 4 pounds, so his foster parents are going to work on fattening him up a little. He has shown no fear in his foster home, and seems to be relaxing now that no one is tormenting him or chasing him all over.

Ty will need some vaccinations and a well doggie check. He will also need to be microchipped. He will be taken to the vet soon. His foster parents think he may be house trained as well as potty pad trained, but does need to go out often. He is getting along just fine with his new foster sisters, who are also very small.

We do know that Ty CANNOT go to a home with children at all. He needs an older person or couple who want an adorable teeny little lap dog who only wants to sit on their lap and be held and petted all day long.

Please watch for an update on Ty as his foster mom and dad get to know him better. This is one sweet, tiny little fellow who needs a calm, quiet, peaceful forever home. Maybe you are exactly that person.
