Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, Micah here. I'm about a two years old and I have beautiful long black silky fur and really, really long white whiskers. I'm pretty handsome, if I do say so myself. I'm a talkative kitty too, and will meow when I'm looking for affection. Wondering how I ended up here in the shelter? Believe it or not, the home I came from had so many cats, that when someone accidentally locked me in the closet, they never even missed me - and I was there for weeks! I was crying to be let out, but no one heard me. When they finally discovered me, they realized they had too many cats - so they sent ME away. I felt like I'd done something wrong, but everyone here tells me it's not my fault and now I believe them.
To make things worse, the home I was in had Feline Leukemia, and I was afflicted. I can still live a long and happy life but I'll need to be the only cat in the home, which means I'll get all the attention I deserve! So now my favorite things to do are eat, and rest. After such a stressful ordeal in the closet, I’m enjoying the things that some cats take for granted. If, I mean when, I find my forever home, I'll be so excited to curl up on the couch with my people petting me, knowing everything is going to be OK. If you'd like to meet me or any of my friends waiting for homes, please fill out an application or stop in for a visit.
