My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joy the Lovebug is still waiting on her perfect furever home! This adorable 10 month old Sausage-Shaped Pit/Shepherd mix is just about the sweetest baby you could ever meet! She absolutely loves kids of all ages and is great with all other dogs. She loves car rides, cuddles, sleeping under furniture, and fluffy toys. She's a low-energy girl who doesn't dig or display any destructive tendencies. She would really love a home with kids and other dogs to grow up with. She is crate& house trained. She much prefers to be outside than inside, but won't say no to a soft bed inside at night or when the weather is ugly. She's very watchful, but doesn't bark unless it's really important. Her adoption fee is $50, and includes her Spay, Shots, Microchip, and Sentinel. She has been in our care since she was almost 3 months old - she was the only survivor in her litter, which was dumped at the local high-kill shelter. Her litter mates all looked like pure American Bullys. She has always been on Heartworm Preventative, and we require Adopters to keep her on it for her entire lifetime.
