Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bristol a sweet mix of love, puppy wiggles and bit of labby/lurcher we think...always a best guess. This is Momma dog to baby Tigressa and for those wondering how big Tigressa will be...take a look at momma Bristol
Bristol comes to rescue with a full set of wonderful house manners and training. At one point, this was a loved and cared for girl and it is a great mystery to us how a dog like Bristol has no family. Seriously sweet dog.
Bristol is a stunning mix with a soft, beautiful coat, and lovely black rimmed eyes. At medium knee high sized and a young 1 year old, Bristol is the perfect size and personality to fit into almost any family. She is a medium energy girl who loves belly rubs. Bristol’s only known enemy is her enthusiasm when she first sees her folks. She still likes to jump up to say howdy, but we are working on that one. This smart girl realizes pretty quickly that a sharp NO, is not what she likes to hear, so she stops. She could really use a toy or two, as she is still a baby at heart and likes to mouth.
Foster Momma Extraordinaire Stacey says, “She likes other dogs and also is ok with cats. (lives with 2). Bristol is social and goes most places with me; though she can be a bit shy with people she doesn't know at first. She does tolerate being indoors, but would rather be with her human. All in all, she is a very sweet dog. If I were looking to adopt a dog, I would probably consider her.”

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
