Bryan Bickell of the Chicago Blackhawks and his wife Amanda are dedicated to helping "Pit Bull" type dogs find forever homes. As part of their Bick's "Pit" program, a "Pit Bull" is featured through the organization so they can one day find their forever home. Bryan found Skates near the Blackhawks practice rink before practice started one Saturday morning. Skates had been wandering the neighborhood and smelled horrible. She jumped in to Bryan's car after he searched for an owner. He took her to the vet where she stayed until we realized no one was looking for her. Skates is a fun loving girl who is about a year old and wants to have a family to play with!
