Bryan Bickell of the Chicago Blackhawks and his wife Amanda are dedicated to helping "Pit Bull" type dogs find forever homes. As part of their Bick's "Pit" program, a "Pit Bull" is featured through the organization so they can one day find their forever home. Cadence is a all blue two- year-old mix who was found in Chicago roaming the streets and brought in to the city animal control with a dangling back leg that had extensive nerve damage and necrosis. Having her leg amputated does not slow her down she is learning how to get around on 3 legs!
The Bryan and Amanda Bickell Foundation sponsored her vetting and along with The Dog District she is in training with hopes of becoming a therapy dog! She is a fantastic dog and loves everyone!
