My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Handsome, Oreo. He crossed our path in yet another unfortunate situation. A man approached a volunteer and simply asked if she "wanted his dog" because he "bites my shoes." After further conversation, we learned the facts; this pooch came to him as a gift at 8 weeks old as a cute, cuddling puppy. Only 6 months later, he is "chewing his shoes", "has too much energy" and they just "rescued" another pup so they can't keep him. We named this guy Oreo, as he was nameless for his first 6 months. Oreo very dog social and does not seem to mind cats. He is getting used to car rides, learning how to walk on a gentle leader and has done quite well with crate training. Oreo will make such a wonderful companion on some many levels….walks, hikes, cuddling and friendship. There is not a dog he will not play with or a human he will not love. This handsome fella would do best in an active home and he must have an active playmate to pounce with. He is a youngster, approximately 8 months, and has some much positive, happy energy to give.
