Hi my name is Nile. I was adopted out from JR's some years ago. Then recently JR's got a call from domestic animal control. Somehow I had found my way there. JR's contacted the people that had adopted me but they didn't want me anymore. So now I'm hanging out in my foster home until a new forever home can be found. I am a big, affectionate guy. My foster mom describes me 17 pounds of pure love. I wasn't sure about the resident cats when I first got here, but I never fought with them. I'm learning to live with them and don't really mind them all that much anymore. Now the dogs that is another story. I am not very fond of dogs, frankly they scare me. If they are anywhere near me, I swat at them. So, I'm sure you understand that I would prefer a home without any dogs. I may be an adult cat, but I have a secret. I love to chase my tail. It is one of my favorite toys and the great thing is it is always there. I would love a home for the holidays, won't you make my holiday wish come true? Adoption fees for all cats/kittens include: spay/neuter, micro-chipping, FLV test and distemper vaccination. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. At this time it is necessary to send a request for an application. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including contact with your veterinarian and complete a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers who all work other jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
