Meet Sarge!

Sarge is an owner surrender who first came to New York through another local rescue who pulled him from a shelter in Ohio.  Sarge is approximately 1 1/2 years old and weighs 75 lbs.  Sarge is housebroken, crate trained, & loves to be around people and other shepherds.  He loves to play fetch, loves to go on walks, loves to go for a ride, and has nonstop puppy energy all day long.  Sarge needs to go to a home with people who are VERY ACTIVE, have lots of time to spend with this boy, and of course patience.  He knows basic commands, but has no manners.  He NEEDS OBEDIENCE TRAINING.  He is very loveable, friendly, and has no problem with strangers coming to the house.  Sarge would do best with children 10 years and older, he would not harm any children but due to him being clumsy and his size he would easily knock little ones over.

Sarge CANNOT GO TO A HOME WITH SMALL DOGS OR CATS.  Sarge is neutered, up to date with shots, and appears to be quite a healthy boy.  Sarge is ready to go to his forever home and whoever that is will be very lucky!
