My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING!

Please welcome Hans.  He is a beautiful black & tan neutered German Shepherd Dog.  Hans is approximately 2 years old who weighs about 70 lbs.  He's just the right size.
 
Hans came to us from a very bad situation where he and his mate were being starved.  A concerned neighbor called us and asked us to step in- with the help of Animal Control.  Hans had never been socialized or given any Veterinary care.  He is now up to date with his shots, heartworm negative, crate trained, neutered, and just waiting for his forever home.
 
Hans plays in a pack of five other dogs and does quite welll.  When he sometimes gets a little pushy with one of my females, they set him straight and all is good.  Hans is learning to trust people and doing quite well.  He only needs a minute or two to warm up to you.  He wants to please so badly, he just needs a little patience and understanding.
 
Hans would do best in a home with older children and we don't know about cats.  Hans will make a great addition to a deserving family.
