Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING OR ADOPTING THIS DOG, YOU MUST FIRST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AT OUR WEBSITE AT http://www.littledogsbigheartsrescue.com/adoption-application/
Name: Bella
Breed: Chihuahua
Gender: Spayed Female
Age: Approx. 10 yrs in Nov ’14
Weight: Approx. 4.6 lbs
Energy Level: Low-Medium
Apartment Appropriate: Yes, but would need to be carried around stairs and never left on a balcony with open railings
Good w/ Dogs Good with other small dogs. Larger dogs unknown.
Good w/ Cats: Unknown, but suspect fine.
Good w/ Kids: Due to Bella’s tiny size, no kids, please.
Comments: Bella is the tiniest of the tiny, but she has a big heart! She is funny and sassy and you would never guess she was ten years old. The life she lived before she came to LDBHR weakened her jaw, and it actually broke when she went in for a dental, but she’s well on the road to being fully mended and gets along beautifully eating her soft food. She loves to prance around outside when the weather is nice and dance and talk for her foster mom. Bella is too cute for words and will light up the life of whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. Because of her tiny size, we’re asking for a lower activity home with no children, and her new family will need to be conscious of not leaving her up on furniture unattended or encouraging a lot of jumping etc.- tiny fragile bones are more breakable. Along the same lines, she can’t have access to a dog door in her new home, as she would be easy prey to raptors or even neighborhood cats. If you think Bella sounds like the perfect tiny girl for you, please fill out an application today!
