My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 Handsome shepherd mix, 75lbs, neutered male, 5 yr young
 House trained and crate trained, and utd on all vaccines
 Heartworm negative and flea free
 Very sweet boy, good with adults and children, and good protector
 Due to his size we recommend children over the age of 10
 Loves car rides and his toys, and has LOTS of LOVE to give
 Prefers to lounge on couch while he waits for you to come home
 Prefers to sleep with you , but has his own bed just in case
 Knows basic commands and a few tricks (sit, shake and speak for a treat !)
 Recommend DOC as an only dog for his family ( no cats and no small dogs); DOC does well with dogs his size in a monitored play environment
 Doc is smart and a quick learner; he requires a confident leader (caretaker) who is consistent and willing to continue his training on appropriate behavior in social situations
 Fenced yard is a necessity due to his strong prey drive
Remember ALL adopted pooches need TIME to adjust to their new surroundings; some adjust faster than others depending upon the breed and their history (which is usually unknown). We always recommend a basic training course to help facilitate the bonding of your “rescue”.
