Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We're betting that when you think of Elmo, you think about tickling and giggling, right? Did you know that "Elmo" in Italian means "guardian", a truly honorable name for a Cane Corso Italiano. We can't say enough good things about Elmo: he's sweet, smart, good with other dogs, and we'd bet just about any other animals that reside with you. He is a beautiful brindle boy that loves being with people and currently hangs out with Manny, our Rottweiler who is also awaiting his foster (possibly forever?) home. Beyond hanging out together, what else do these boys have in common...you guessed it, ACL repairs needed: Manny with two (one already done), and Elmo is two-weeks post surgery and doing very well. We are committed to the placement of solid physical and behavioral health dogs, so, of course, we would undertake the expense to get Elmo whole. Donations to his ACL repair and Manny's are always appreciated! If you're interested in fostering/adopting Elmo through his healing process, please complete our online application: http://thorr.org/welcome/adoption-application-form/
