Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATED BIO 11/06/14: Meet Maya! Maya is a 9 year old, 12.5 lb Yorkie, being fostered in North Port, FL.
Maya is a bit chubby, and should lose a pound or more. She lost her home through no fault of her own and is looking for a new lease on life. She has only been in her foster home less than 24 hours, but so far, she has proved to be very sweet and quiet, and gets along with the other dogs and cats. She does seem to be confused and depressed over why she is no longer with her people, and keeps looking at the front door, waiting for them to return.
Maya will be going in for a dental, blood work and shots next week. And after, she will be available for adoption.
Maya can go with other animals, but at this point, we think older dogs that won't bother her or try to play with her would be best. Well behaved children who are used to small dogs are also fine.
Check back soon for further updates and pictures of this sweet little girlie.
Initial Bio. 11/5/14 Maya just came into UYR today. She is 9 years old and weights 12.5 pounds, She is currently being fostered in West Palm Beach, FL.More information and pictures on Maya coming soon.
