Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fun, fun, fun, Dora is all about having fun. At a year old she’s full of puppy foolishness and is a heart stealing cutey. She loves to play with her foster brother, a much bigger puppy that adores her. Cats are interesting to her, and she’s gentle with them.
She'll make a good family dog. Affectionate and active, kids will like her but small ones will probably get knocked over now and then and there could be a few toys destroyed. It will be up to YOU to teach her what's appropriate in your home. You will have to take a positive obedience class with her and provide her with daily exercise and stimulation. I promise the rewards will be endless.
She's a Husky mixed with a smaller breed given her petite size.
If you are interested in pretty Dora, please complete an adoption application here: http://bigheartrescue.weebly.com/adoption-application.html
We do not have a shelter so you cannot meet our dogs until we've reviewed your application.
Note: We only adopt to residents living within a two-hour driving distance of the Lower Mainland and parts of Vancouver Island. We do not accept applications from outside of Canada
