My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a 5 year old Chihuahua, about 9 pounds, fully vetted and Microchipped. Lucy was surrendered with other dogs from her home because “they had too many”.

Her ideal home is a retired or an active couple, or someone wanting an older canine companion. Lucy has a medium energy level, she is thrilled to go for walks and loves car trips, but also settles down nicely at the end of the day and just wants to cuddle on your lap and be loved. She is house trained, will crate when needed, but once she is used to a new home she will not require a crate when left alone. She is dog is fine with other dogs, but clearly prefers people to canine companionship. She has not been around cats, and will do fine in an apartment or townhome setting.
