Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ROCKY IN GEORGETOWN, TEXAS HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
If you would like more information about Rocky in Georgetown, Texas, please contact Connie Lawrence at conniel@andell.com or fill out an adoption application at www.brusselsgriffonrescue.org
Almost a year ago NBGR brought in several rescues from hoarding situation. These poor dogs had endured obvious abuse and neglect at the hands of a very despicable man. Consequently, all these rescues are afraid of men, but none more so than Rocky.
This little guy is the only one remaining in our program and still looking for his forever family. Rocky is submissive, gets along with other dogs, cats and even chickens – the thing that sets him back is his fear of men. Therefore, we are looking for a female only household where this sweet boy can blossom.
Rocky is house trained, leash trained and enjoys going on walks. He goes to his crate without a fuss when his foster mom tells him it’s time to go night-night. We are sure he would gladly share the big bed given the chance.
Rocky is sweet, passive and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He will need your patience as he adjusts to a new environment and learns to trust. Once he comes out of his shell you will see the jewel his foster mom sees.
After never having any, Rocky has discovered toys; his favorite is a ball he enjoys playing with and carrying around. The thing that Rocky loves most of all is the comfort and contentment he finds in his foster mom’s lap with his head buried in her chest. It is there that he finds the peace for which he has been yearning.
Are you the fairy dog mother Rocky has been waiting for?
Rocky is 5 yrs. old, 13 lbs., fully vetted, micro-chipped and on monthly heart worm preventative.
Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
