My name is Bruno Mars and my foster mom found me in an industrial park in a dicey part of town. Her truck stopped and I ran right up to meet her, because she seemed really nice. Before I knew it, I was going for a ride to her house. You see, my previous owner took my collar off and dumped me out. I don't know why and my foster mom cannot figure it out because she says I am perfect. I am house trained, I get along great with dogs of all sizes, I don't bark, my black and tan coat is shiny and I am not underweight. Why, I even know how to walk on a leash. And I sit for treats. I love treats. Next to mealtime, treat time is my favorite time of day.
I weigh about 45 lbs and I am 18 inches tall at the shoulder(knee high to my foster mom...that's how I know how tall I am). I have never spent much time inside but I took to it like a duck to water. There is a soft bed and it's warm and safe. NO FLIES to bite my ears. I have had flea medicine put on me so I don't itch and I am taking medicine for worms that could get in my heart. It guards my heart, says my foster mom, and I'm very lucky I didn't already have them!
I am calm except when mom comes home. My happy feet let her know I am glad to see her. I play with the other dogs gently and I love to get belly rubs. At night, I sleep near my foster mom on my bed.
If you want a medium sized, perfectly mannered calm dog who loves everyone he meets....adults, children, and dogs of all sizes, I am your new Best Furry Friend. And please don't hold my pictures against me. I'm much more attractive than I look! The camera just makes me really nervous.
I am current;y being fostered in South China, Maine.
