Here's what the humans have to say about me:
zzy is a sweetheart with a very spunky attitude! She is very loyal dog who loves to be around you and follow you wherever you go. She will sit at your feet while you watch TV or cook in the kitchen and lay by your door at night. She is a cuddler also and loves to be pet. She absolutely loves playtime and shows her puppy side when she's ready to play. Izzy is will be 2 years old on March 25, 2015 and currently weighs approximately 45 lbs.
Izzy came to us from a private home where a change in her owner's employment commitments meant she was no longer able to the time and care needed for this beautiful girl.
What Izzy's previous owner had to say:
Izzy is very playful and energetic, intelligent, learns quickly, great with any other dog, kids, people. We've spent countless hours in parks where she would run and play with other dogs. She has known nothing but love throughout her short life. She's up to date with all her vaccines and has never had any fleas, ticks, etc. She's a very healthy and lovely girl. She has been my great companion.
She loves spending time outside; she's very curious. She loves being around people, kids and other dogs. Loves running and so the best option would be if someone has lots of time and space for her to run around and play. She comes back on whistle commands or when called - come back. She's very intelligent and a beautiful dog, so any training given to her she will learn and when practiced she will perform as asked. She's so good natured.
Here is what Izzy's foster family had to say:
Izzy loves playing with all kinds of dogs. She is very good with people and kids. She will make a great companion. She is a very loyal dog. She's playful but knows how to be calm and isn't afraid to show you her love for you. When she's resting, lots of times she looks like she's smiling. She loves sleeping on her back with all her legs up in the air.
Izzy's favourite thing is to play fetch or go for walks. She has a moderate to high energy level and loves to play. She is also very affectionate and loves her cuddle time. She is very quiet in the home.
She knows her basic commands and is an intelligent dog that learns quickly. She is fully house trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside to do her business. She is crate trained but does not like spending time in her crate however as she is still young I would continue with her being crated when you are away until she can be fully trusted in the home. She does like to sleep by the side of your bed on the floor at night (information from her previous owner). She is leash trained and is very good when riding in the car.
Izzy would be great with a family with kids or a younger couple who are willing to exert all of her puppy energy! Someone who will give her all the love and attention she deserves!
If you think you could offer Izzy a wonderful new home, please submit an application for consideration.
