Roo is a unique little boy! We think he looks like a furry piglet, or like Dobie the good elf from Harry Potter! Roo was rescued from a high kill shelter and adopted from the Dexter Foundation two years ago. Roo's mom is a senior citizen, and has had to go into a nursing home. Roo is a happy, well trained, gentle boy looking to give his love to a new family! Roo gets along well with other dogs and even cats! He walks well on a leash, is house trained, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. If you'd like to meet Roo, please complete our online adoption application found on dexterfoundation.com If you can't adopt Roo, can you at least give him a temporary foster home? If we cannot find a foster for Roo, we will have to board him. Poor Roo has been living at home, and now his world has turned upside down! Let's get Roo into a Southern California foster home asap!
