My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calm and quiet Chihuahua boy. Wilco was surrendered to BrightSide by his owner and came in very fearful of humans. He has come a long ways and now eagerly anticipates staff and volunteers hoping for some attention, some hugs and even a walk. He is 2 years old and weighs just over 5 pounds. Wilco has done well with other small dogs and is curious about the 106 pound dog in a kennel near him. You can imagine him asking a lot of questions about how that is possible. At the same time, Wilco will protect himself if he feels threatened and though he gets along great with some dogs, there are others he's not so keen on. Wilco loves a warm lap and has been known to cover his walker with kisses. If you think you have room in your lap for a little bitty quiet guy, please contact us about Wilco. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, free veterinary wellness visit the3 first week and a month's free pet insurance.
