Here's what the humans have to say about me:
10/27/14- Nigel wasn't brought to us, he just showed up a few years ago! He was coming up to the shelter front porch and eating for a couple of months, running away whenever approached. Finally in feb. on one of those 5 degree nights on top of a snow-packed porch, he was soooooo hungry, cold and tired that he just let me pick him up and carry him inside! He had had it with the great outdoors(we all have had it after this winter). Right away he was a purr-factory! We took him to the vet the next week and he said that Nigel was only about 1 yr old. Because his double-paws are strangely formed like big mitts, Nigel needed a claw removed from a toe that bends backward. It was causing him discomfort-so that's been resolved. We had him neutered, he tested negative for disease and we wormed him. He is a healthy, SPUNKY, young alpha cat. He would do very well as an only cat-as long as you give him TONS of toys! He was briefly adopted into a home with an older FEMALE cat that he could not dominate, and so he was returned. But we found he'll do best in a home where a young cat wants to rough & tumble play A LOT and not care if he takes asserts himself as alpha. Nigel is now a clean, muscular and handsome boy. He is affectionate and wants to be the center of your attention. PLZ EMAIL US FOR AN APPLICATION AND SEE OUR HOMEPAGE FOR MORE INFO ON HOW WE OPERATE!!!
