Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We took in Little Leo October 4th 2014. He was so tiny, and barely 6-weeks old. He'd been living outside in someone's yard with 30 + cats and kittens. There wasn't shelter, so they all had to figure it out. As temperatures dropped and lots of rain plagued the area, Leo wound up with a severe Upper Respiratory infection. It took weeks of intravenous fluid therapy, antibiotics and other medications along with us feeding him because he was too sick to eat. He was very congested. A side effect of Upper Respiratory Infections that go untreated for too long is a cat's eye will eventually swell shut. In the most severe cases a cat can go blind. Leo's eye did swell shut, but thankfully when it opened it could still see.
We are beyond pleased with Leo's miraculous recovery! To see him energetic, playful, and eating/drinking on his own is a blessing and something we couldn't be sure we'd see. All the pampering he was showered with spoiled him so his new owner must be a real cat lover who wants a talkative kitten who thrives on attention and being taken care of. Leo talks a lot and after some time, his new owner, like us, will figure out what he's trying to say.
Leo is still pretty small. He was weighed on October 24th and just hit two pounds! I can't express enough what a uniquely charismatic kitten Little Leo is. Find out for yourself and set up a time to meet him!
