My story

Jolene probably has quite a story to tell from before she came to us as a stray but once you meet her, you'll see this chipper little gal simply doesn't hold a grudge and has put her past behind her. She is mostly confident and playful but she will let you know with her eyes and her need to be very close to you when she is feeling a little unsafe or insecure. She is kind to all walks of life at all ages which has made her quick to win everyone's heart. She is a little bit of a social chameleon and can be playful and energetic when you want her to but the moment she needs to be a calm lapdog she settles down and cuddles up! She seems house-trained and capable of assimilating very easily. She also has the sweetest, softest bark you've ever heard. Jolene is approximately 8 years old

Our adoption fees are on a sliding scale; choose the amount that's right for you. Fees for senior dogs (7 years and older) are $90 to $125; fees for dogs 1-6 years are $125-$175; fees for dogs under 1 year of age are $150-$200.

If you are 65 years or older, the adoption fee is waived when you adopt a senior dog. All Dogs Forever dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper/parvo, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and microchipped.

We are located at 809 Rockford Road SW in Cedar Rapids, across from the outfield at Veterans Memorial Stadium. We are open every Saturday 10-2 and by appointment. Contact dogsforever@netins.net.
