My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We saved Ricky from the shelter because the lead shelter volunteer told us he was her favorite dog. Everyone loves him - great with dogs, kids, cats, house trained. He's perfect.

Ricky (formerly known as Happy Pappy) is an ebullient one year old black and tan neutered male Tibetan Terrier mix puppy who was found in Compton on July 14th and brought to the Downey Shelter. Weighing fifteen pounds, this kissing monster walks okay on leash but will benefit from formal training. He is effervescent, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and we can’t think of a better pup for children. Happy Pappy is sure to keep you laughing at all times and is an outstanding indoor pet for anyone in any living situation.
