Here is an update from her foster in the first week: Just wanted to share what a pleasure it is to have Nova in our home. She is absolutely delightful and will make a wonderful addition to her adopter’s life. She gets along with everyone in the house – dogs, cats, and teenagers.
She loves cuddles and enjoys affection. She is housetrained and does not seem to suffer from separation anxiety. She hasn’t chewed anything. She loves her food and is a good eater. She adores her walks and is completely adorable when we are getting ready for walks (she wants to sit on my feet while I am trying to put my shoes on). She’s a little dog but she is spunky. She carefully inspects our entire yard twice a day. She is great on leash, doesn’t lunge or bark at other dogs. She hasn’t played with my dogs yet but my crew is overwhelming – Shu Mai is desperate to play but doesn’t realize she is very big and goofy and intimidating for Nova.
Nova sleeps beside my bed on a comfy bed of her own. She is not opposed to sharing a bed with one of the other dogs. She sleeps through the night without a peep.
I believe she will be a devoted and wonderful companion. She rarely leaves my side and keeps a very close eye on me when I’m in the house or yard.
I don’t think you could find a more excellent little dog. Top marks for Nova – best foster dog ever.
Pets can be flown to new homes. Application and homecheck required for all homes, the dog will go to the best home for the dog.
