Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2/12/15 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!
Adoption Fee: $400
Fostered in Alabama
Age: 2 years
Weight: 6 lbs.
12/2/14 - Annabelle has truly blossomed into the perfect baby. She is fine with other dogs and has started to try to get them to play with her and she is showing more and more interest in toys. She loves her lap time with foster mom and loves sleeping in the big bed all night. This one here is a gem and now that she has been cleaned and polished from her dingy past, she is shining like new.
Cute, playful, sweet, mannerly, and available for adoption. What more could a person ask for?
10/15/14 - Annabelle, Annabelle! Wherefore art thou Annabelle? Here I am, waiting for my forever family and home. Annabelle, a yorkie/chihuahua mix, was found by good samaritans roaming the streets with protruding ribs and unhealthy skin. Since the human race had let her down, she was a tad feral and it took her finders days to befriend her. They finally had to set a trap with food in it so the could catch her and try to find her original home. Much to their surprise, after exhausting all avenues of finding her original home people around the area said that she had been stray for quite some time and was probably dumped. So the good samaritins turned their efforts to finding her a new place. They reached out to some friends who contacted Yorkie Haven Rescue; one of foster moms picked her up the next day. This precious girl is gaining weight daily and her skin is also looking good due to better nutrition and frequent baths. She is still a little shy (since we’re sure she wasn’t treated very well while running loose); she is willing to trust people again. She sleeps in the big bed under the covers and loves to sit in laps and go for walks on a leash. Would you like to add this beautiful girl to your home? Well, just fill out the online adoption application and tell us why you would be the best family for our sweet little Annabelle.
