Meet Queenie! Queenie is a 5 year old husky mix who has found herself in need of a new home. Queenie isn't just another rescue dog, she belonged to the mother of one of my oldest and dearest friends. Her mom passed away from ovarian cancer last year. She had rescued Queenie from a neighbor several years before who was abusive and neglectful, and they were inseparable. She'd nursed her back to health, and taught her what it meant to be a truly cherished family member. Recently, my friend's step-dad remarried, and they have decided they can no longer care for Queenie. My friend lives in a one bedroom studio, and has already taken in her mom's cat. She has tried to figure out a way to make it work for Queenie, but it's just impossible. So I have vowed to find this sweet girl her very own happy ever after, and I'm asking you to help me.

Queenie is a lovely lady. She has lived with other dogs and cats, and gets along well with both. She has not been around young children (under 12), and given the current situation, we feel it would be best she not be placed in a home with them. She has been a very loved pet for many years, and the changes she is about to experience are going to be stressful. We don't want to add to that.

Queenie is spayed, utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. She has also been microchipped. She must go to a home where she will live inside as an important member of the family.

Queenie's adoption fee is $250 which includes all age appropriate vet care, neuter, microchip and associated costs.

We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. We do not adopt to anyone under 21.
