Meet Hope! Hope came into rescue in very sad shape. She was completely emaciated, heart worm positive and ehrlichia positive. She had pretty much given up on life. But all that is behind her now. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since the first day we have had her, she has been an absolute treasure in the house. Never a chewed shoe or accident to be found despite her having full run of the house for 10+ hours at a time. She has even figured out there is a bell on the door to go out if she wants without me ever having shown her.
Her calm demeanor and snuggle like character make her a perfect companion for anyone. I have even found if you spoon her in a tight hold, she does not move at all until you release her. She is not mouthy at all either (no nipping).
She is extremely loyal, and you will often find yourself being shadowed quietly by her when you had no idea. She is very social, however no cats are recommended. Seriously...no cats.
She gets along great with my dog despite him being a very spoiled male shepherd.
Hope is also wonderful with children.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope is spayed, utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. She has also been microchipped. She must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family.
If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application!
Hope's adoption fee is $475 which includes all age appropriate vet care, neuter, microchip and associated costs.
We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. We do not adopt to anyone under 21.
