Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clark: 1 yr old, neutered male, lab mix. The neuter has not been kind to his weight as he is a stocky boy. He weighs in at about 50lbs. He was saved from euthanasia at Wharton pound in April and has been in foster care since. He was picked up by animal control when he broke from his tree that he was chained to. He has really come out of his shell and it's been exciting watching him learn how to interact with people and other dogs. Bugs and frogs fascinate him and he can chase them all day. He is treat motivated and loves his toys. He is more submissive and loves to cuddle. He doesn't understand cats so it's best he doesn't interact with them. He is good with other dogs and with older kids.
here's some info about him straight from his foster:

Clinginess factor?

Would do fine alone or needs 4 legged friends?
Needs other furry friends
Ideal home for this animal in your opinion & why?
Clark needs a very understanding family that will allow him to adjust at his own pace and will give him lots of activities and time for training. He would do best with older kids (7+) because he doesn't quite understand tiny humans. He would do excellent with an active, sporty family that would love to throw the tennis ball around for hours.
Any special abilities, tricks, quirks or personality traits, behaviors an adopter should know about or you would like to share?
Clark will sit for any piece of food you have. He is eager to please and easily trainable. He does like to jump up and nip at your clothes when you aren't giving him enough attention. He's just a fun and playful boy.
