Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Lucille, better known as the “Sweet, Calm Girl in my litter”. I am a lab/terrier Mix, found wandering in the Corridor of Cruelty with my siblings. Currently I am staying at a boarding facility waiting another week until I can get spayed and pack my bags for my new home with a great family. I'm also finishing up the last bit of my medications for some bad skin issues that I had while I was a stray. I still have a few spots on my head and neck that are healing, but they are improving daily and I’m told that if I finish all my medication, I’m going to be even silkier and prettier than I already am now. I’m very much a puppy and irresistible to most people. I come with puppy breath, so if you don’t want to fall in love-don’t get too close. I am very playful, love to tumble around and run with my siblings. I am happy-go-lucky, adventurous and affectionate too. I very much want to live in a comfy home with a devoted family that will help me continue my house training and my leash skills. I sleep in my crate, so I am trained pretty well with that. I'm was born in May, 2014, weigh about 24 pounds, have lots of puppy energy and they estimate that I'll probably be about 50-60 pounds as an adult, but they aren't too sure yet. I'm still working on potty training, getting used to my leash and of course....learning how to follow the rules. Lucille currently lives in Houston, Texas and is on the network for Portland because we have amazing volunteers that live here who help coordinate successful out-of-state adoptions. Corridor Rescue has the very fortunate ability to transport dogs to other states via the United Airlines PetSafe program. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $150. The transport cost is $225, which includes the airline flight, a new pet travel kennel that you can keep upon arrival and the required health documents from the veterinarian. The grand total for adopting this pet including adoption and transportation fee to the Portland airport is $375. To adopt Lucille, please submit an adoption application online at www.corridorrescue.org under the More Information tab. If you have any questions, please email corridorrescueadopt@gmail.com Thank you!
