Here's what the humans have to say about me:
GreenePets pulled Baby from our local high kill animal shelter. Her adopted mom got there literally 15 minutes before she was to scheduled to be put to sleep by lethal injection euthanasia. Baby is a black and white great dane mix. Baby is also known to her family as Puppy love. Baby was extremely malnourished and neglected and was confirmed also by her veterinarian. She was very scared to be inside the house when she was first rescued. Her family devoted lots of love and patience until she gain the confidence to being inside the home and a part of the family. Baby has now healed from her neglect and is now all fattened up to be a healthy looking dog. She will come inside and enjoy sleeping on the couch or bed occasionally. But still begs and loves to be outside as being outside was the only home she knew before becoming a family dog. She is a loyal dog and does not run off she stays by the front door waiting on someone to come outside to play with her. She does not play with toys but loves to chew on sticks and loves chasing the kids and being chased. She has learned her manners but will still jump on you occasionally but she has since learned if you put your hand up in stop gesture and say no she will respect that command. She loves cuddles, loves treats, and would benefit from somebody with children and a large fenced yard. She has been very spoiled in her foster home. She has been with children as young as 1 years of age to 19. She does well with small children but does need to be supervised only because she does not understand her size. She could be bouncy and knock a small child down. She plays very well with smaller dogs but is shy with larger dogs. The family loves their Baby with all their heart she has been a wonderful dog for them however their child has cancer and through traveling with chemo treatments they do not have the time to devote to her as they would like. This family was a blessing to save Baby's life we hope that someone will bless them by giving the dog they love a wonderful forever home.
