Now called Truen, a name that means "brave and valiant," this little boy who has endured so many hardships is slowly learning that people can be sources of love and care, not just neglect and cruelty.
Truen experienced tough times before he was rescued. His ears were frost-bitten & he had problems with his eyes. He's FIV positive. When first rescued, poor Truen was terrified of everyone.
Fortunately, Truen's temporary foster home is wonderful. This person sees the beauty of this cat & works with him every day to help him recover from his past traumas & to reconnect with the loving life that should be his. His foster mom reports that there indeed has been much progress!
This kitty needs a very special rescue angel--someone whom can continue to work on Truen's rehabilitation with energy healing & tender, loving care. This is a long-term investment of time but so worthwhile.
True eats and drinks well. His safe place is hiding in his blankets--literally burrowing down so that he can not see you (ergo, you can see him!) He comes out when he believes no one else is around. Unfortunately, he is not yet at the point of being able to be handled by humans.
